my name is kari inocencia shaw. you can call me kari.
i am a multi-generational resident on Kumeyaay land (san diego, california).
i identify as multi-cultural + Indigenous.
i have been in remission from Stage 3A Hodgkin's Lymphoma since May 14th, 2014.
i speak english, spanish, and american sign language.

the work i do +

i am an artist and a writer, among other things.
the most important thing in my life is to be of service.
i work human services and education.
i earned my Associate of Arts in English in 2022.
i am currently going back to school for Studio Art, then Art Therapy.
